Hi, I'm Susan (and this is Miley)! This blog is my
gratitude journal for an unearned grace, a
peace beyond
understanding, and a love too vast to comprehend. Each day, I yearn to know more and more of this divine treasure.
I believe in the sufficiency of God's grace for all of our needs, His surpassing peace that is beyond our understanding, and His unwavering, perfect love that pursues us. We serve a triune God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The living and active Word of God reveals the risen Jesus. Through confessing with our mouth and believing in our hearts, we are saved, filled with the Holy Spirit, who dwells in us, making us ambassadors for Christ. Gifted and equipped, we are called to be disciples, growing in His likeness, transformed, sanctified, justified, and set apart for His purpose. I believe our mission as Christians is to glorify God by how we live and love. As blood-bought children, Jesus tore the veil, allowing us to boldly approach the throne of grace. God knows us, loves us and sent his only son, Jesus to die for the forgiveness of our sins, so that now, in believing, we are united with Him throughout eternity!
